We Met in 2010 in the halls of Roosevelt High school.
We fell in love in 2019 across a booth at Yours Truly.
Josh and I had a flirty infatuation with each other in high school. I remember the exact moment I saw him for the first time and I felt a huge energy shift. Luckily, life or God or something knew that we wouldn't be ready for each other for another decade. He slid into my DMs the instantaneous moment he heard I was newly single. I accepted a date thinking it would be an easy re-entrance into the dating scene... 5 years later we have 2 kids, 2 dogs, 2 cats, and a whole lot of love for one another.
Our wedding was the perfect representation of who we are. 60 of our closest people outside at a random bar patio in Akron... with the best music, meaningful ceremony led by my sister, and with plenty of tears to go around. I loved getting to celebrate our love. I hope if you're here reading this, you are as excited to plan your wedding as I was. Weddings are the most fun when they are an accurate representation of who you are, I hope I get to document you in that way.
more about me
I've been running my wedding photo and film business since 2015. I started out as a photographer and started dipping my toes in the video pool about 6 years ago. I made the leap in 2021 to permanently add video to my brand and the rest is history. For the past 9 years I have been photographing weddings - big and small, backyard and ballroom, sunshine or storm, and have loved every minute of it. I have been a part of over 300 wedding days in the past 9 years and I've danced my ass off on every. single. dance floor. If you need a photographer who is going to give their all to you, photograph all the feels, every emotional detail, I'm your girl.

TLDR...
In 2022 I got pregnant with Elsie. I spent that whole wedding season waddling around, growing my daughter and experiencing the highs and lows of pregnancy (oh, and getting married myself - whoops!). Elsie was born in early 2023, and the first year of her life was one of the best of mine. Navigating motherhood and experiencing the world with this new, amazing little person was such an overwhelming blessing. The day after Elsie's first birthday we found out we were expecting again. I never really imagined being a "two under two" mom (and I can't say I recommend it lol) but I truly can't image life without our Piper Lynn. Shortly after Pip was born in October 2024 we found out she has a life-long chronic illness called Cystic Fibrosis. Her diagnosis changed our lives, but we are so hopeful that she will be able to live a relatively normal life with the advancement in medications and therapies. Navigating business ownership while being a mother has been a huge shift, especially after becoming a "medical mama". I have had to limit the amount of work I take on so I can stay home with the girls as much as possible. Avoiding illness is a priority to us while Piper is so young so we can help maintain her lung function for as long as possible. The past 3 years since I started my journey of motherhood my clients have been the best support system. I am truly so lucky to be able to call so many of my clients, friends. I am a human first. A mother first. And being a mother has exponentially increased the passion and importance of what I get to do. I get to document the Big Day, while weaving together the story of what led you there. And hopefully, I get to continue telling the story of your family for years to come. (Check out Rachel Beth Creative for family photography!)
